API reference / Common / Engine types / ShapeGraphicFrameLocks

Interface: ShapeGraphicFrameLocks

What a graphic frame forbids (a:graphicFrameLocks, CT_GraphicalObjectFrameLocking): the per-edit locks an editor honors before it lets a user group, select, move or resize the frame.

Every lock defaults to unlocked, so [Default] is the frame that refuses nothing and is_empty skips the whole block on the wire.

It hangs off two containers, with the same six attributes either way: the shape tree's a:nvGraphicFramePr/a:graphicFrameLocks, and the docx drawing's wp:cNvGraphicFramePr/a:graphicFrameLocks (TextDrawing). It lives here rather than in the text model because it is a DrawingML element that the docx carrier borrows, not a text concern.

a:extLst is not modeled: nothing we read writes one here.
