Interface: TableStyle

One named table style.

The two dialects differ in how much a style may say. A docx style carries its own paragraph, character, table, row and cell properties and a w:basedOn chain; a pptx style carries a background and the 13 regions, with no chain and no table-level properties anywhere.

Properties

PropertyDescription
id
string
a:tblStyle@styleId / w:style@w:styleId.
name?
string
@styleName / w:name@w:val — the display name. The cascade resolves by id and never by name.
basedOn?
string
w:basedOn — the style this one overrides. docx-only; a pptx style has no chain. The chain may loop, and the fold that walks it guards that.
base?
TablePartStyle
w:style's own w:pPr / w:rPr / w:tblPr / w:trPr / w:tcPr — the base every region layers over. Empty for a pptx style, which states its base as the whole_table region instead; docx has both, so they stay separate.
background?
TableBackgroundStyle
a:tblBg — the backdrop beneath the whole table. pptx-only.
parts?
TablePartStyles
The 13 conditional regions.
